Giving is waaaaay over-rated

I pretty much want to keep everything I'm knitting at the moment. Which, for obvious reasons is impractical, selfish and not all keeping in the spirit of the holiday season.
That said, I will be gifting this neck warmer/scarfette to Samantha for Christmas. And after this photo/blog session it will be wrapped and set under the tree. (otherwise I am not responsible for my actions and it does look really cute with my peacoat..ahem...Wrapping present NOW!)
Who knew Joann's sold such funky little buttons???? Knit w/Bernat "Max" on size 15 needles. Knit 3 rows garter. Knit 3 rows stocking net. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. Use entire skein and try not to keep for yourself

I'm thinking if "Unoriginal" from Yarn Harlot and "Meat Head" from Larissa Brown got together and produced offspring......................................................... They'd end up with something like this. I introduce to you. Son of An Unoriginal Meathead!
Son of An Unoriginal Meathead can be enjoyed by the young and old alike.
Son was supposed to be gifted at Christmas to a friend. My Grinchy heart got the best of me.
Mine,
Mine,
Mine!

Oooops!

I mean Ours.

(ours, ours, ours!!!!!!)

Knit w/Lionbrand Woolease Quick & Thick Chunky in Black. Size 11 circs.

I love the hat! So cute and fast and cheap it seems. Fast and cheap is how I like it.

The button on the neck warmer is PERFECT! I'm sure it was a well-appreciated gift.
