Seeing Red

Last minute and late!
Birthday gift for SIL & MIL. Cabled newsboy cap from StitchNBitch Nation for my SIL Anna in Patons Classic Wool Merino -'Bright Red'. "Last minute 'Purled' Beret" from Knit & Tonic - For my MIL Lilly ( I chose not to turn inside out) in Knit Picks Sierra -'Cranberry' . I knit both of these in 3 days...whew! Rushed, but it was a nice break from Waffle-ville.

American in Paris????

More like Monica Lewinsky in the Oval Office.
Not my cup of tea, but my MIL wears beret's all the time.
She looks adorable.

I look like I want to intern @ the White House.

I hadn't planned on posting today...but Jake was up at the crack of dawn. So I was too.
He is wired on sugar & it isn't even 10 am yet. I hope everyone enjoys the Easter Holiday.
Pray for Peace.

Haven't been aroud much, but I did finally post something, including a picture of an Elvis diorama... done with Peeps.

I love them both! Red is a great color choice. Considering I've made two news caps, want to make another one, and have the beret pattern set aside, it's no wonder. Next time lets make a waffle beret.

Those are some cute hats. I always love it when folk knit up that newsboy; adorable every time.
