Breaking News........

We interrupt the scheduled program "Thermal" to bring you Chevron Scarf. She is making her blog debut in Koigu and due to her popularity and ease in showcasing beautifully hand painted yarns...You will be seeing much more of her in various shades of gorgeous-ness in the near future.

Chevron, you are a welcome distraction. I am tempted to knit you and only you. But that dastardly Thermal is greedy and takes up most of my precious knitting time. Grrrrrrr.......Thermal!!!!!!

***** Warning ****** (Knitters tantrum ahead)

Here is THERMAL. Looks good so far - Right?
WRONG !
Rookie mistake....BIG.....HUGE. I can't believe I didn't see it until I was picking up stitches for the neckline. Can YOU see it???

How about in this one???? Count the waffle stitches on the left....now the right.

How did I miss that ? Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!

So it began. Me pitching a fit. The Soprano's sounded like Sunday School, compared to what was flying out of my mouth.

I'll be honest. I thought about ignoring it and finishing anyway....but I knew I would never, ever wear it. And I have spent waaaaaay too much time on this sucker not to wear it.

So....You can find me in the Frog Pond @ the bottom of a bottle. Feeling sorry for myself in a gigantic pile of fiber. Waffle stitching till I can't waffle no more. Ribbit.

** waaaaaah **

Gah! That sucks about Thermal. I HATE when stuff like that happens. On the upside, the Chevron scarf looks great.

Oh, honey, I'm so sorry. Keep up the chevron therapy, and try to get it overwith quickly, then it will only be an unpleasant memory.

oh MAN do I understand. I did this with the sleeves of a cardi I am currently knitting, at the same time. yeah, I totally did so with the purpose of not having that happen, and one ended up like 2 inches longer and wider than the other. It was a mess.
I tip my sippy mixed martini to you. I feel your pain. You just have the greatest responses to such things. You make me laugh, though, I know its not a laughing matter.
