Happy 2008!

Enough with all the resolutions. I say EAT..... DRINK..........
And be MERRY!
I found this on YouTube. Enjoy.

(And because this is a knitting blog) ' Stulpen Specials' knit from the rest of my STR skein in Chapman Springs. I managed a pair of Dashings & a pair of Stulpen's from the single skein. Not too shabby, eh???

Now I'm off to ring in the new year with my latest squeeze. He's a little on the hairy side, snores a bit, and I believe is also responsible for eating all my chocolates - but I love him dearly. My wonderful, wonderful pal Stephanie knit this fella for me. Stephanie was overly generous with her package (check out the goods) and I'm not complaining one bit! Thank you so very much Stephanie for your creative and thoughtful gifts. I'm so glad we've become friends and if I ever make it up your way, we will have to have a blogger meet-up and share a hot toddy or two! Thanks again for being such a fantastic pal and for creating my little gnome. ;) (p.s. Mr. Gnome sends his love! xxx)

hi susan!!! thanks for being my secret santa! your gifts were awesome. The cookies traveled with me to Michigan on Dec 24-28. if you get a chance, can you send me the recipe? you were so sweet to knit me all those christmas items! I especially like the mesh bag, I will get a lot of use out of that. I'll post pics on my blog soon, of your gifts.

There we have it. Proof that the New Year will be great. First Elvis.. then a knitted Gnome.

What's next? Knitting Mimes?

Now. Stop me. That would be too much to ask for...

Happy New Year! You're the best thing since the King!

Those fingerless gloves are gorgeous. My sister bought me the most beautiful silk yarn for Christmas and this would be the perfect thing to knit with it. Where did you find the pattern?

You seem to love cables - I do too!! Can you recommend any good books? Thanks!!
